Terms of Service

By requesting or using any services provided by Foxlock Locksmith, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions

"Foxlock", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Foxlock Locksmith (PTY) Ltd, based at 76c Monument Road, Kempton Park, 1619, South Africa. "Service" refers to all automotive, residential, commercial, and security locksmith services provided by Foxlock. "Client" refers to any individual or entity requesting our services.

2. Service Agreement & Authorisation

By requesting our services, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the property or vehicle, or that you have been granted explicit authorised permission to request work on it. Foxlock reserves the right to request valid identification and proof of ownership or authorisation before performing any lockout, key generation, or security service. We reserve the right to decline service where proof of ownership or authorisation cannot be established.

3. Pricing & Quotes

All prices communicated via our website, quote forms, or WhatsApp are indicative estimates only. A firm, binding quote is provided on-site after the technician has assessed the work required. No work will commence without the client's explicit acceptance of the on-site quote. Foxlock is not liable for any discrepancy between an estimated price and the final on-site quote.

4. Liability

Foxlock executes all work with professional workmanship and industry-standard tools. However, Foxlock shall not be liable for pre-existing electrical, mechanical, or structural faults in vehicles or property. Any risks associated with aftermarket modifications, non-standard security systems, or pre-existing damage are borne by the client. Our liability is limited to the value of the service rendered.

5. PSIRA Compliance

Foxlock Locksmith operates in compliance with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and all applicable South African security legislation. Our technicians are registered security service providers as required by law.

6. Cancellations & Call-Outs

A call-out fee may apply for dispatched technicians where the client cancels after dispatch or where access is denied upon arrival. This fee covers technician time and travel costs and will be communicated to the client before dispatch where possible.

7. Privacy & Data

The collection and processing of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using our services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gauteng, South Africa.
